We strive to provide the highest possible quality of communication services to the citizens and visitors of Grand Forks County, as well as the agencies we serve. We will carry out all tasks with an eye towards the future, never losing sight of the fact that the citizens entrust their safety and well-being to our care.

The Grand Forks County Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) is many things:
  • Communication link for 33 agencies, including the county sheriff’s department, municipal police agencies, fire departments and emergency medical response
  • Communication link for the all individuals within the cities and townships in Grand Forks County, encompassing 1,438 square miles and a population of over 66,000 people
  • Answering point for 911 calls
  • Answering point for non-emergency calls
  • Activates the emergency warning sirens when necessary
  • Public education to school children and adult groups on proper use of 911
Above all, PSAP is a team of dedicated individuals ready to serve the public of Grand Forks County, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
