Public Open House Events for the Proposed New Bus Routes to the Transit Development Plan

Grand Forks, ND –The GF/EGF Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Cities Area Transit (CAT) will be holding several public open house meetings on proposed new bus routes.

 In the current Transit Development Plan, new bus routes were proposed to create better connectivity and a more direct route to destinations.

 Six Open House events will be hosted by CAT and the GF/EGF MPO to gather public input on the proposed bus routes. Open houses are scheduled for the following times and locations:

April 25th, 2018

UND Memorial Union – 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

April 26th, 2018

East Grand Forks City Hall: Training Room - 4:00 to 6:00 PM

April 30th, 2018

Grand Forks City Hall: Room A-102 - 4:00 to 6:00 PM

May 1st, 2018

Metro Transit Center (MTC) - 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

May 7th, 2018

Grand Forks Senior Center - 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

May 8th, 2018

Grand Cities Mall - 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Members of the public are encouraged to attend these open houses to provide input and feedback on the proposed new bus routes in the GF/EGF Metropolitan area.

Comments on the proposed new bus routes will be accepted until May 16th, 2018. Comments can be provided by email to teri.kouba@theforksmpo.com, or by mail at 600 DeMers Avenue, East Grand Forks, ND, 56721.

 

To request language interpretation, an auxiliary aid or service (i.e., sign language interpreter, accessible parking, or materials in alternative format) contact Earl Haugen of GF-EGFMPO at 701-746-2660 about an individual’s needs five (5) days prior to the meeting.
