Bridge Closure Update - Traffic Pattern Changes

Post Date:04/08/2019

Grand Forks, ND – With the Sorlie Bridge closed on Demers Ave., the increased traffic on Gateway Dr. (Hwy. 2) will cause some traffic pattern changes.

Traffic on Gateway Dr. drive will not be allowed to make a left hand turn east of Washington St. unless it’s at a controlled intersection (N. 5th St. & N. 3rd St.).  This is for traffic headed in both directions.

This will help control the back up of traffic on Gateway Dr. caused by the increase traffic due to the closed bridge.
