Point Bridge Closing at 2:30 pm Today

Grand Forks, ND – Officials from Grand Forks and East Grand Forks will be closing the Point Bridge on Minnesota Ave. at 2:30 pm today due to rising flood waters.

Water goes over the road on the East Grand Forks approach to the bridge causing the closure.

The Kennedy Bridge on Gateway Dr. (Hwy. 2) remains open.  Be advised of the changing traffic patterns on Gateway Dr. caused by the increased traffic.  No left hand turns are allowed between Washington St. and the Kennedy Bridge unless at a controlled intersection (N. 5th St. & N. 3rd St.).
