The Grand Forks Public Health Department in conjunction with the North Dakota Department of Health is currently investigating a Tuberculosis cluster in Grand Forks County. To date all confirmed active cases of TB have been connected. Of the confirmed cases, 2 have been students at Phoenix Elementary School, 1 was a student at Valley Middle School, and 1 at Winship Elementary in the Grand Forks School District. Those 4 students have been excluded from school until they are cleared by a healthcare professional.

If you need to be tested for exposure to TB you will be contacted by health officials to schedule a TB screening.

The Grand Forks Public Health Department provides TB skin testing to screen for Latent TB Infection, also known as Inactive TB. We provide medication, counseling, and monitoring free of charge for anyone with inactive TB or with active TB disease.
