The mission of the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program at the
Grand Forks Public Health Department is to reduce
disease, disability, and death in the community related to tobacco use.


This effort will be accomplished through a comprehensive approach
by means of establishing smoke-free policies and social norms,
promoting and assisting tobacco users to quit,
and the preventing the initiation of tobacco use.
