The Grand Forks Public Health Department provides nursing services by way of home visits to clients unable to make it to a care facility on their own. Services include:
- Basic physical assessment

- Blood pressure and pulse
- Heart and lung sounds
- Edema checking
- Oxygen percentage
- Blood sugar monitoring

- Health teaching and counseling

- Filling of insulin syringes for the visually impaired
- Medication setup
- Medication assessment
