Grand Forks, ND – The City of Grand Forks has closed access to the Riverboat Road parking lot near the Sorlie Bridge on DeMers Avenue, as part of the 2011 flood fight. In addition, crews will install closures tomorrow on the sidewalk access to the Sorlie Bridge, but traffic will be allowed to continue to use the bridge until further notice.

Additional closures may become necessary as the Red River continues to rise.
