Grand Forks, ND – The City of Grand Forks would like to remind residents that sump pumps need to drain into the storm water sewer system (street gutters) or into ones yard. A sump pump should not be discharged into the waste water sewer system (drains in the house).

If a sump pump is discharging into a drain in the house the City of Grand Forks asks that the pump discharge hose be moved outside.
