Grand Forks, ND – Volunteers are requested for today, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 for volunteer sandbagging. The bus will be leaving from the main southeast entrance of
The Alerus Center, 1200 South 42^nd Street, today at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5 p.m.

All volunteers must register before leaving so allow time to complete the registration before the departure time.

Residents will need to be ready to work and be dressed appropriately for volunteering. Gloves, work boots and layers of clothing are suggested. Volunteers should be in good health and able to lift the weight of the sandbags.

Cars may be parked at the Alerus Center parking lot.
