MINUTES
Grand Forks Civil Service Commission
August 13, 2009

Chairman Bredemeier called the Grand Forks Civil Service Commission meeting to order at approximately 3:33PM in the City Hall, Council Chambers.  Commissioners Johnson and Nies were present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was moved by Commissioner Nies and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to approve the July 9, 2009 regular meeting minutes.
All approved, motion carried.

REASSIGNMENT REGISTERS

Assistant Finance & Administrative Services Director
Mr. Bergquist stated that this was an internal posting and there was only one candidate.  Discussion was held.  It was moved by Commissioner Nies and it was seconded by Commissioner Johnson to establish the cutoff for the Assistant Finance & Administrative Services Director Reassignment Register at 95.0%.
All approved, motion carried.

Environmental Health Supervisor
Mr. Bergquist stated that this was an internal posting and there were four candidates.  Mr. Shields is here to answer any questions and the recommendation is to put all four on the register.  Mr. Shields stated that all the candidates are well qualified and would be please to have any of them in this position.   Discussion was held. It was moved by Commissioner Nies and it was seconded by Commissioner Johnson to establish the cutoff for the Environmental Health Supervisor Reassignment Register at 94.0%.
All approved, motion carried.

It was moved and seconded to adjourn the August 13, 2009 regular meeting. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 3:36 PM.
