Members present: Kreun, Glassheim, Hoff, Klave.

1. Matter of contract change order No. 10, Nodak Contracting, Elks Condo backfill, Project No.
5015______________________________________________________________________
Mike Yavarow, engineering department, distributed copies of bid summary, city council authorized bidding this project, doing as change order. Moved by Klave and Hoff to recommend approval of Change Order No. 10 to Nodak in the amount of $30,905.50. Motion carried.

2. Matter of surplus property:
a) matter of award of high bid on 3141 Olson Drive
It was noted that this bid had been delayed because of the sunporch, single bid received. Moved by Glassheim and Klave to accept high bid from Alona Harper of $5,000 for the property at 3141 Olson Drive, including sunporch. Motion carried.

b) matter of award of 114 Spruce Court (Karen Waldron)
It was noted that Ms. Waldron bid through Hettich and subject to all requirements. Moved by Glassheim and Hoff to award property at 114 Spruce Court to Karen Waldron for $5,000, City not responsible for any moving problems which arise. Motion carried.

c) matter of declaring surplus property
1) 101 Euclid avenue
2) 1406 Lewis Blvd.
Moved by Klave and Glassheim to approve declaring these properties as surplus. Motion carried.

d) matter of tree trimming for removal of house on Almonte Avenue (Scott Ripplinger)
It was noted that they have to develop routes for moving of this building. John Staley, Park District, stated they will need to look at another route, and will work with the Ripplingers. Mr. Ripplinger stated they looked at 8th Avenue and cleared as far as Cherry, and west to Washington and measured all of the homes there and talked to home owners. Mrs. Ripplinger stated they haven’t been able to reach property owner at 729 S. 9th Street. After discussion it was noted that the Ripplingers work with Park District for moving the building. Moved by Klave and Hoff to receive and file. (Comm. only)

It was moved by Klave and Hoff to adjourn; meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
