Fund Authority (JDA) - Monday, November 6, 2006 - 7:00 p.m.

The city council of the city of Grand Forks sitting as the Growth Fund Authority met in the council chambers in City Hall on Monday, November 6, 2006 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. with Vice Chair Glassheim presiding. Present at roll call were Council Members Christensen, Bakken, Kreun, Glassheim, Mayor Brown - 5; absent: Council Members Brooks, McNamara, Gershman - 3.

AWARD CONTRACT FOR LM GLASFIBER
PHASE II EXPANSION

The staff report from the urban development director relating to LM Glasfiber Phase II expansion with recommendation to award contract for LM Glasfiber Phase II expansion to Baukol Builders.

Greg Hoover, urban development, reported that in July of this year the council approved this project of LM Glasfiber's Phase II expansion, bids were received in October, and Baukol Builders was the lowest, most responsive bid and recommended awarding of the bid to Baukol Builders with a base bid of $123,181.00.

It was moved by Council Member Brown and seconded by Council Member Christensen to award the bid to Baukol Builders. Carried 5 votes affirmative.

ADJOURN

It was moved by Council Member Bakken and seconded by Council Member Kreun that we adjourn. Carried 5 votes affirmative.
