MINUTES
Grand Forks Civil Service Commission
July 26, 2007
Chairperson Bredemeier called the Grand Forks Civil Service Commission to order at approximately 3:35PM in City Hall, Council Chambers. Commissioners Bredemeier, MacGregor, Burlog, Nies were present. Commissioner Johnson was absent.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was moved by Commissioner Patsy and seconded by Commissioner Burlog to approve the June 14, 2007 regular meeting minutes as presented. All approve, motion carried.
CHANGES/ADDITIONS
1. Revisit the Civil Service Commission minutes for August 10, 2006 to correct the Reassignment Register for HR Generalist to show the following order.

It was moved by Commissioner Burlog and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to approve the change to the August 10, 2006 Minutes. All approved, motion carried.
2. Remove Police sergeant Reassignment Register and move it to the August 9, 2007 meeting.
3. Add Firefighter, Sr. Reassignment Register as follows.
Raymond Skari
Chief O’Neill requested the addition due to manpower considerations. It was moved by Commissioner Burlog and seconded by Commissioner MacGregor to establish the Register. All approved, motion carried.
4. Placement of the following on the Reemployment Register. It was moved by Commissioner Burlog and seconded by Commissioner Nies to place all three on the Reemployment Register. All approved, motion carried.

It was moved by Commissioner MacGregor and seconded by Commissioner Nies to establish the Eligibility Register for Equipment Operator at 79.00% as follows:

All approved, motion Carried
REASSIGNMENT REGISTER
Bus Operator
It was moved by Commissioner Nies and seconded by Commissioner Burlog to establish the reassignment register for Bus Operator at 74.00% as follows:

John O’Donnell
All approve, motion carried.
INFORMATION ITEM
Mr. Hovland welcomed LeRoy Bergquist to the Commission meeting as the replacement for Dawn Wilkie at the future Commission meetings. Commissioner Bredemeier stated she wished Dawn well in her new position.
ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Burlog and seconded by Nies to adjourn the July 26, 2007 regular meeting. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 3:54PM.
