BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT
April 14, 2011

The Board of Zoning Adjustments held a public hearing in Room A102 of City Hall. A notice was placed in the Grand Forks Herald, as required by City Ordinances.
Chairman Kent Anderson called the meeting to order at 10:35 AM.
Members present were: Kent Anderson, Lynn Vreeland, Larry Boltz and Jim Galloway.
Members absent were: Del Scholler and Mark Peterson.
It was moved by Lynn Vreeland and seconded by Jim Galloway to dispense with the reading of the last meeting’s minutes. Motion passed unanimously.
The following appeals were heard
:
1. Barry & Lisa Botnen, 170 Christian Dr, have made a request for a variance to the accessory building area requirement [Section 18-0305 of the Land Development Code] in order to develop the property. Legal Description: Lot 8, Block 1, Countryview Fourth Resubdivision.
It was moved by Lynn Vreeland and seconded by Larry Boltz to allow up to one thousand three hundred and eighty-eight (1,388) square feet of accessory building area in order to develop the property. Motion passed unanimously.
Lynn Vreeland moved for adjournment and was seconded by Jim Galloway. Motion passed unanimously.
