MINUTES/FINANCE COMMITTEE
Monday, March 20, 2000 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Babinchak, Brooks, Carpenter, Hamerlik.

1. Matter of sidewalk improvement bonds.
Saroj Jerath, deputy city auditor, reported that only one bid had been received - from Norwest Investment Services, Inc. for $160,000 for five years. Hamerlik questioned why only one bidder, and it was noted that issue too small. It was moved by Hamerlik and seconded by Brooks that we accept the bid of Norwest Investment Services for $160,000 for a term of 5 years at a rate of 6.48%. Motion carried.
