MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE

Members present: Bakken, Martinson.

1. Applications for gaming permits:
a) Northern Cruz Club - raffle 10/05/00
Moved by Martinson and Bakken to approve the application subject to the city attorney’s review and approval and adoption of a resolution recognizing the organization as being public spirited. Motion carried.

b) Sioux-Per Hockey Fans Unlimited - raffle 12/18/00
Moved by Martinson and Bakken to approve the application subject to review of the city attorney. Motion carried.

2. Requests to hold block parties:
a) Columbine Court (portions of court) - September 1
b) Phoenix School - block Chestnut from 4th to 5th Aves. S. - September 6
Moved by Martinson and Bakken to approve the requests to hold block parties. Motion carried.

Moved by Martinson and Bakken to adjourn; meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
