MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
December 20, 1993 - 7:00 p.m.

Members present: Crawford, Hoeppner.

1. Applications for airport limousine and taxicabs for 1994.
It was reported that all applications for airport limousine license by Nodak Radio Cab Co. and for taxicab by Nodak Radio Cab Co. and Grand Forks Taxi Co. had been reviewed and vehicles had been inspected. Moved by Hoeppner and Crawford that the applications be approved. Motion carried.

2. Budget fund transfer.
The committee reviewed request to transfer $11,873 within the police department budget to cover holiday expense for 1993. Moved by Crawford and Hoeppner that the transfer be approved. Motion carried.

3. Applications for gaming permits.
a) ND Wallbangers Wheelchair Athletic Club - raffle on January 22, 1994.
b) Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation - raffle on march 19, 1994.
c) March of Dimes - site authorization at 124 S. 3rd Street (McGuire's Bar).
All applications had been reviewed and approved by the city attorney. Moved by Hoeppner and Crawford that the applications be approved. Motion carried. (committee only).
