MINUTES/URBAN DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Monday, August 16, 1993 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Carpenter, Hanson.

1. Matter of storefront application:
a) 317-319 DeMers Avenue.
Curt Siewert presented proposal, and recommended that we pay cost of removing metal sign and half of Dakota Shopper Sign; would like to see existing Mandel's sign taken down and install awning. Moved by Hanson and Carpenter that Community Development pay the cost of $263.00 for removal of existing Mandel's sign, and cost share up to $1600 for installation of an awning. Motion carried.

2. Matter of bidding fire alarm system for City Mission.
Moved by Hanson and Carpenter to authorize bidding of fire alarm system for the Grand Forks Mission. Motion carried. (committee only.)
