MINUTES/URBAN DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Monday, December 20, 1993 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Lien, Carpenter, Hanson.

1. Public hearing for Growth Fund project:
a) Cheyenne Valve and Machine.
Chairman Lien called for the public hearing, and it was noted that the Growth Fund Committee had approved the application. There were no comments and the hearing was closed.

It was moved by Carpenter and Lien that a grant in the amount of $15,000 be approved to Cheyenne Valve and Machine. Motion carried.

2. Housing rehab. application:
a) 406 Walnut Street
Mr. O'Leary presented information on the application, and reported that staff was recommending $5,000 grant for electrical work and sheet rock.

b) 618 7th Avenue South.
Mr. O'Leary presented application to repair and paint exterior siding.

He reported that both properties are owner-occupied units; there are monies in the fund, and Curt Siewert inspected both houses.

Moved by Lien and Carpenter that the housing rehab. applications in the amount of $5,000 each, be approved. Motion carried.

3. Budget fund transfer requests.
a) Request to transfer $27,500 within the Urban Development budget. Moved by Carpenter and Lien that the transfer be approved. Motion carried.

Hanson present.

b) Request to transfer $5,673.00 within Urban Development budget. Moved by Hanson and Lien that the transfer be approved. Motion carried. (committee only)
