MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
Tuesday, January 18, 1994 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Crawford.

1. Application for limousine license by S & S Investment, Inc.
dba Luxury Limousine.
The application included payment of fee for one vehicle and certificate of liability insurance. It was noted that the police department does not do inspection of limousine vehicles. Moved by Crawford for approval of the application subject to review by the city attorney; with second to the motion to be made on council floor.

2. Application by J.E.P., Inc. dba Fabulous Westward Ho Motel
for special alcoholic beverage permit.
Bruce Bork presented application, they will cater bar for about 60 people at wedding dance at 121 North 5th Street from approx. 8:00 p.m. to 12:45 a.m. Chief Paschke stated they have no problem with the application. Moved by Crawford to approve the application, subject to review and approval of the city attorney, with second to the motion to be made on council floor.

3. Applications for gaming permits:
a) Lake Agassiz PTO - bingo on February 7, 1994.
b) J.Nelson Kelly PTO - bingo on January 21, 1994.
Applications had been reviewed and approved by the city attorney. Crawford moved approval with concurrence by another committee member.
