MINUTES/URBAN DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Monday, February 7, 1994 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Lien, Carpenter.

1. Matter of bidding packages for houses in Burdick's Resubdivi-
sion.
Curt Siewert reviewed various bidding packages:
#1 - footings and foundation package
#2 - building shell
#3 - siding
#4 - carpentry (interior)
#5 - floor covering (holding at this time)
#6 - mechanical/plumbing
#7 - mech/HVAC
#8 - electrical
#9 - appliances ) holding at this
#10 - landscaping) time

He requested authorization to bid labor and materials; that they need to obligate funds by April 1. It was also noted that the City has right to reject and rebid. There was some concern re. bonding of contractors.

Moved by Carpenter and Lien that we authorize bidding separate labor and materials packages as prepared by EAPC, architect. Motion carried.

2. Matter of revised CDBG schedule.
The committee reviewed the revised schedule submitted by Mr. O'Leary, who reported that have received 21 applications for CDBG funds; and will try to do in two meetings. A motion was moved by Carpenter and Lien recommending approval of the revised CDBG schedule. Motion carried. (committee only)
