OF THE CITY OF GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA
Thursday, October 26, 1995

The city council of the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota met in special session in room 36-D in the Civic Auditorium on Thursday, October 26, 1995 at the hour of 6:35 o'clock p.m. with Mayor Polovitz presiding, pursuant to call by Mayor Polovitz, which was served on all members on October 24, 1995: Document No. 6635 - Notice.

Present at roll call were Council Members Beach, Hanson, Carpenter, Sande, Klave, Johnson, Hagness - 7; absent: Council Members McCabe, Hoeppner, Hamerlik, Glassheim, Geller - 5.

MATTER OF APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL/LIMITED
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE PERMIT BY SOUTHGATE OFF-
SALE AND LOUNGE ON OCTOBER 27 AT 121 NORTH
5TH STREET

COUNCIL MEMBER BEYER REPORTED PRESENT

Committee No. 2, Public Safety, reported having considered the application for special/limited alcoholic beverage permit by Southgate Off-Sale and Lounge on October 27 at 121 North 5th Street.

COUNCIL MEMBER BABINCHAK REPORTED PRESENT

It was moved by Council Member Sande and seconded by Council Member Johnson that this recommendation be and is hereby approved.

Upon call for the question, and upon voice vote, the motion carried 9 votes affirmative.

ADJOURN

It was moved by Council Member Beyer and seconded by Council Member Babinchak that we do now adjourn until Monday, November 6, 1995 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. Carried 9 votes affirmative.
