MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
Monday, April 3, 1995, 6:50 p.m.

Members present: Hoeppner, Sande.

1. Applications for gaming permits:
a) Assn. of Residence Halls (UND) & Programming Council,
raffle April 5.
This application had been reviewed by the city attorney, with comments that ap. could be approved, contingent upon adoption of resolution as "public-spirited organization". Moved by Sande and Hoeppner to adopt a resolution recognizing this organization as a public spirited organization eligible to conduct games of chance, and to approve the application for permit. Motion carried.

b) Army Aviation Assn. of America & Center for Aerospace
Sciences - raffle April 8.
It was noted that the city attorney had not reviewed this application. Moved by Sande and Hoeppner to adopt a resolution recognizing this organization as a public-spirited organization eligible to conduct games of chance, and to approve the application for raffle, contingent upon review and approval of the city attorney. Motion carried.
