MINUTES/FINANCE COMMITTEE
Tuesday, January 16, 1996 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Carpenter, Babinchak.

1. Matter of employee on Workers Comp. to draw down sick leave.
A communication was presented to committee from Stewart Broderson requesting to go on sick leave starting January 18, 1996, when his year's extension for Workers Comp. runs out; that due to a disability and doctor's orders, he cannot perform his duties in the fire department. He stated he has been an employee with the fire department since October 10, 1960. A note from the auditor's office reported that Mr. Broderson has 2360 hours of sick leave as of December 31, 1995.

After discussion it was moved by Babinchak and Carpenter to recommend to the city council to allow Stewart Broderson to draw down his sick leave and finance committee will review the policy. Motion carried.
