MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
Monday, February 3, 1997 - 6:45 p.m.

Members present: Sande, Ellingson.

1. Matter of bids for Phoenix rescue tool (fire department).
Chief Aulich reported that two bids had been received, low bidder was Grand Forks Fire Equipment Co., Grand Forks, in the amount of $7,550.00 (equipment is model of jaws of life; and is in stock). Moved by Ellingson and Sande to accept low bid of Grand Forks Fire Equipment Company in the amount of $7,550.00. Motion carried (committee only)

2. Applications for gaming permits:
a) Century Elementary PTO - bingo 03/07/97
b) MeritCare Foundation - raffle 05/10/97
It was noted that both applications had been reviewed and approved by the city attorney. Moved by Ellingson and Sande to approve the applications. Motion carried. (comm. only)
