MINUTES/PUBLIC SERVICE COMMITTEE
Monday, June 23, 1997 - 6:30 p.m.

Members present: Hagness, Hafner, Klave.

1. Plans and specifications for Project No. 4332, Upgrade Lift
Station #7, and advertise for bids.
Moved by Hafner and Klave that we approve plans and specifications, and authorize call for bids. Motion carried.

2. Plans and specifications for Project No. 4624, 1997 Forcemain
Valve Replacement, and advertise for bids.
Moved by Klave and Hafner that we approve plans and specifications, and authorize call for bids. Motion carried.

3. Matter of request for utilities in Johnson's 4th Addition.
Moved by Klave and Hafner to authorize to proceed, and to enter into contract with consultant. Motion carried.

4. Matter of creating special assessment district:
a) Proj. 4619, Dist. 383, sanitary sewer on N. 55th Street
(10th Ave.N. to 12th Ave. N.)
Moved by Klave and Hafner that we adopt a resolution creating the assessment district, approving the engineer's report, including estimate of cost, an assessment district map, and further that we pass a resolution instructing the city engineer to prepare detailed plans and specifications, and that we declare intent to sell bonds to finance these improvements. Motion carried.

5. Plans and specifications for:
a) Project No. 4557, Dist. 551, paving Rivers Edge and 49th
Ave.S.
Mr. Grasser requested that this project be held because they don't have definite dates for completion of storm sewer project which needs to be done before the paving is installed. Held in committee.

6. Matter of three-way agreement for Proj. 4667, storm sewer in
Columbia Park 21st Addition.
Mr. Grasser presented matter to committee. Moved by Klave and Hafner that we authorize entering into a three-way agreement with the developer, the engineer and the City to allow developer to install storm sewer and paving according to City specifications. Motion carried.

7. Matter of debris removal contract.
This item handled by Flood Response Comm.
