Minutes - Finance Committee - 6/15/98 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Carpenter, Babinchak, Bakken, Hamerlik.

1. Matter of authorization to purchase chairs for civic auditorium and budget amendment.
It was noted the bid is well in excess of $10,000 for acquisition of chairs. Mr. Owens stated that Kreuger is only one making these chairs that stack with existing chairs. It was moved by Bakken and Babinchak to approve purchase of chairs subject to city attorney approval on bidding requirements, and to approve budget (budget amendment in the amount of $35,664.00 to purchase the 500 additional stacking chairs for the auditorium). Motion carried.

2. Matter of joint power agreement with School District re. special assessments.
The committee reviewed the agreement. N/A
