MINUTES/FINANCE COMMITTEE

Members present: Carpenter, Babinchak, Bakken, Hamerlik.

1. Application for property tax exemption by Conte Luna Foods Division of Philadelphia
Macaroni Company for processing area addition to the existing processing facility.___
After some discussion it was moved by Bakken and Hamerlik that we recommend granting a 10-year 50% exemption subject to public hearing. Motion carried.

2. Matter of offer for land known as Lot B, Harty's Second Resubdivision from Terry T.
Rogers Construction, Inc.___________________________________________________
The committee moved to reconsider the Bradley Beyer bid for this property (4330 Gateway Drive) in the amount of $7,500. Moved by Hamerlik and Bakken to reject the offer. Motion carried.

It was moved that since we have two bids to direct staff to do oral bidding between the two bidders if they are interested and that the City reserves the right to reject all bids. Motion carried.
