MINUTES/PUBLIC SERVICE COMMITTEE
Monday, August 17, 1998 - 6:45 p.m.

Members present: Hafner, Lucke, Lunak, Klave.

1. Matter of consideration of bids for Project No. 4836, storm
sewer on Belmont road from 52nd to 55th Aves.S.
Lon Aune submitted tabulation of bids received for Project No. 4836, trunk storm sewer line on Belmont Road.

Klave reported present.

Mr. Aune reported they received 7 bids, and that Soberaski, Inc. was low bidder; that project under the CDBG $15 million allocation, and are waiting for environmental review.

Moved by Klave and Lunak that we accept the low bid of Soberaski, Inc. in the amount of $211,299.00, contingent upon environmental review. Motion carried.

2. Matter of encroachment agreement at 513 13th Avenue South.
Mark Walker reviewed the matter, that hey are 2.5 ft. into the right of way. Richard Novak stated he is selling house, has buyer for the house, and this needs to be done for financing. Moved by Lucke and Klave that we approve the encroachment agreement. Motion carried.
