MINUTES/FINANCE COMMITTEE
Monday, September 20, 1999 - 7:00 p.m.

Members present: Babinchak, Brooks, Carpenter, Hamerlik.

1. Matter of Fox-Lawson Assoc. RFP for comp and benefit analysis.
The committee reviewed Compensation and Benefits Market analysis proposal. Moved by Carpenter and Brooks to approve Fox-Lawson proposal and authorize up to $20,000 be expended and two council members on committee be Mr. Hamerlik and Mrs. Beyer. Motion carried.

2. Matter of Arts Across Minnesota grant contract.
The grant contract from the Minnesota State Arts Board in the amount of $25,000 had been awarded for First Night Greater Grand Forks. Moved by Hamerlik and Brooks that the proper City officials be authorized to execute the grant documents. Motion carried.
