MINUTES/GROWTH FUND AUTHORITY (JDA)
Monday, April 7, 2003 - 7:00 p.m._______________

Mayor Brown stated as beginning this evening's first meeting welcomed the third grade class from Holy Family School, Ms. Laffen's class who led the council in the pledge of allegiance. After the pledge Mayor Brown asked each of the third graders to come to the microphone and state their names, and thanked the class.

The city council of the City of Grand Forks sitting as the JDA (Growth Fund Authority) met in the council chambers in City Hall on Monday, April 7, 2003 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. with President Gershman presiding. Present at roll call were Council Members Brooks, Hamerlik, Gershman, Christensen, Kerian, Kreun and Mayor Brown - 7; absent: Council Member Glassheim - 1.

CONSIDER REQUEST OF LM GLASFIBER FOR
EXTENSION OF PURCHASE OFFER TERMS

The matter of the request from LM Glasfiber for extension of purchase offer terms, and recommendation to approve the request of LM Glasfiber to extend the purchase terms approved by the Grand Forks Growth Fund on September 16, 2002 for one additional year to March 31, 2004.

It was moved by Council Member Hamerlik to approve the recommendation; Council Member Christensen seconded the motion. Carried 7 votes affirmative.

ADJOURN

It was moved by Council Member Hamerlik and seconded by Council Member Kerian that we adjourn. Carried 7 votes affirmative.
