Minutes of Grand Forks City Council/Committee of the
Whole - Tuesday, January 2, 2007 ­­­­­_______________

The city council of the city of Grand Forks sitting as the Committee of the Whole met in the council chambers in City Hall on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. with President Gershman presiding. Present at roll call were Council Members McNamara, Glassheim (teleconference), Christensen, Bakken, Kreun, Gershman - 6; absent: Council Member Brooks - 1.

Pack 13, Wolf Den, with leader Pam Laffen, led the city council in the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

2.1 Grand Forks Flood Protection Project, Simonson Station Stores.
The city council determined that they would not be adjourning into executive session to discuss negotiating strategy or to provide negotiating instructions to its attorney or other negotiator. President Gershman asked if there were any questions or comments relative to this issue. There were none, and President Gershman noted that this item was also on the city council agenda this evening where action would take place.

ADJOURN

It was moved by Council Member Kreun and seconded by Council Member Bakken that we adjourn. Carried 6 votes affirmative.
