MATTER OF LUSTRON HOME
The staff report from the director of Urban Development relating to the Lustron Home, with recommendation to approve change order and increase project budget by $17,000.
Council Member Kreun moved to accept the recommendation and Council Member Glassheim seconded the motion.
Council Member Kreun stated that in the proposed project budget, questioned why that building would have to be sheltered (putting up temporary shelters), build houses in the wintertime, and that as long as the concrete is poured and no brickwork. Greg Hoover reported contingency was for weather if there was snow of more than 3 inches, that there are open areas of that and may have to do with different type of interior material, the building is not enclosed at this point. Council Member Gershman also questioned that as that is a prefab building but here only putting up panels, interior and exterior. Mr. Hoover stated they will convey that concern to the contractor.
Upon call for the question and upon voice vote, the motion carried 6 votes.
