Advanced Engineering & Environmental Services (AE2S) is the latest recipient of the Mayor's Green Business Showcase. AE2S got its start in 1991 with just two people and has grown to more than 150 employees in 12 offices throughout North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana.

“I’m pleased to see companies like AE2S step up and take environmental issues seriously,” said Grand Forks Mayor Michael R. Brown. “The efforts they make will help protect and preserve our environment for future generations.”


AE2S specializes in providing a unique brand of civil and environmental engineering – focusing on water, wastewater and stormwater systems for municipal, rural and industrial clients in the upper Midwest.

Some of their more recent project include the new Choice Health & Fitness Center on the south end of Grand Forks and the new University of North Dakota Alumni Center that's being constructed on the UND campus. AE2S was also instrumental in developing a drainage and storm water collection system for their own building, located at 4050 Garden View Drive in Grand Forks.
