Flood Fight

This page is designed to help residents follow the level of the Red River in Grand Forks, ND. As the river rises, the City of Grand Forks will take standard flood protection actions such as, closing flood walls and storm/sanitation system gates. The three bridges that connect the communities of Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN are affected by the Red River at 3 different levels. The chart below indicates at what levels the river will cause the closure of these bridges. Be aware that the city will close access to these bridges well before the river levels listed below.
