Just Say Hi Program

The Grand Forks community is fortunate to be home to a vibrant university and many diverse students. Like any college community, there are challenges that occur when the populations of students and non-students coexist in the same community and, in particular, the same neighborhoods. These conflicts often center on issues like parking, property maintenance, loud parties and the resulting conflicts are typically an issue of real or perceived disrespect and lack of common courtesy.

“Just Say Hi” is asking for neighbors to step forward and introduce themselves to one another. Bringing people together by “Just saying hi” and meeting one another.
