Mayor's Urban Neighborhood Initiative - Partners
The Mayor's Urban Neighborhood Initiative is a project that involves many partnerships. A project this large can not be done by one single group. Here is a list of some of the partners working in the Near Northside Neighborhood.



Office of Urban Development
The Office of Urban Development in the City of Grand Forks has handled the overall organization of the Near Northside Neighborhood project.

Knight Foundation
The Knight Foundation supplied a seed grant for long term neighborhood planning.

Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and Region
The Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and Region provided leadership and direction for the Near Northside Neighborhood project. They also spearheaded the collaboration with the Knight Foundation.

Red River Valley Community Action Red River Valley Community Action provides resources and services for housing rehabilitation, specifically weatherization.

UND Center For Community Engagement
The UND Center For Community Engagement conducted a door to door survey to help gauge the interests and concerns of neighborhood residents. They have also assisted in creating the neighborhood association.
