RSS Feeds

RSS is a format for delivering frequently updated information such as new headlines and blog entries from web sites. RSS is short for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary". Available feeds are usually indicated by the RSS logo or by the letters RSS in orange .

RSS allows you to stay informed by monitoring the sites you subscribe to and retrieving any new information or updates. RSS feeds allow you to subscribe to a site without supplying your e-mail or personal information.

RSS readers (also called feed readers or news aggregators) are used to collect and display the information and updates for you. Internet Explorer 7 supports RSS feeds or you can download a web-based feed reader such as Google Reader or Bloglines.
