MINUTES/PUBLIC SERVICE COMMITTEE
Monday, October 4, 1993 - 7:15 p.m.

Members present: Hagness, Beach, Beyer, Glassheim.

1. Matter of substandard building at 522 Reeves Drive.
The committee reviewed the report from Steve Johnson, Dep. Building Inspector and Ted White, Housing Inspector, stating that on September 30, 1993 an inspection of the residence indicates the fire damaged the roof and interior floors beyond repair; that the house is in substandard condition and dangerous to the occupants as per Grand Forks City Code Section 10-0403(2); and that the house is more than fifty percent damaged and should be demolished as per Grand Forks City Code Section 10-0403(3). After discussion it was moved by Glassheim and Beyer to receive the report from building inspections department and set the public hearing on the substandard building at 522 Reeves Drive for December 6, 1993. Motion carried.
