MINUTES/PUBLIC SERVICE COMMITTEE
Monday, October 2, 1995 - 7:00 p.m.

Members present: Hagness, Beyer, Hamerlik, Klave

1. Matter of building permit for Grand Forks Park Board to con-
struct building at Independence Park (toilet facilities).
Present were Greg Horner, John Staley, Bev Collings.
Mr. Staley presented estimates, turned quantities over to CPS, and applied for 2 different structures, $9,000 dif. between Unisex and other plan. Bev Collings, code enf. officer, reported that she received plans at 5 to 5:00 tonight, and reviewed plans.

Beyer stated that it's not a problem if stripe lot to meet Code, suggest to Park District if problem with unisex, convert storage into another bathroom and construct storage shed down the road.
Mr. Horner stated if approved tonight, goes back to Board tomorrow.

Mr. Staley suggested larger utility room; and submitted drawing of parking area.

After further discussion it was moved by Beyer that we approve plans for the unisex bathroom; Hagness seconded the motion. Motion carried.

2. Matter of extended warranty period on major power train
components on used crawler tractor for sanitation dept.
Jim Eck, Butler Machinery, was present.
Dick Newman reviewed information with the committee. The committee re-affirmed their previous decision, which was to accept the bid of Butler Machinery in the amount of $171,500, with trade.
