MINUTES/FINANCE COMMITTEE

Members present: Carpenter, Babinchak, Geller, McCabe.

1. Matter of proposed ordinance(s) re. appointment of standing
committees of council and committee chairs.
The committee discussed the proposed ordinance. Moved by McCabe and Geller to introduce an ordinance for first reading providing for election of committee chairs by council and allowing chairs to nominate committee members. Motion carried.

2. Matter of application for 3-year remodeling exemption:
a) BFI Partnership, LLP, 2016 South Washington Street
The committee reviewed the application for exemption. Moved by Babinchak and McCabe that the recommendation be approved. Motion carried.

Motion carried.
