MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
Tuesday, September 3, 1996 - 7:00 p.m.

Members present: Sande, Ellingson, Glassheim.

1. Requests for variance to noise ordinance:
a) Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity - September 5 and 6

b) Sigma Chi Fraternity - September 6



2. Request to hold block party on September 7 and block both
ends of S. 38th Street beginning at 6:00 p.m.




3. Applictions for special alcoholic beverage permit:
a) Ramada Inn




4. Applications for gaming permits:
a) Holy Family Altar Society - raffle 11/02/96
b) Lincoln Elementary School - bingo/raffle on October 25 (carnival) and November 21 (turkey bingo).
c) United Hospital - raffle 10/05/96.
It was noted that all the application had been reviewed and approved by the city attorney. Moved by Glassheim and Ellingson that the applications be approved. Motion carried. (comm. only)
