MINUTES/GROWTH FUND AUTHORITY
Monday, February 2, 1998 - (following 02/02/98 council meeting)

The city council of the City of Grand Forks, sitting as the Growth Fund Authority met in the council chambers in City Hall on Monday, February 2, 1998 at 9:30 p.m. following the council meeting with Chairman Carpenter presiding. Present at roll call were Council Members Beach, Polovitz, Lucke, Hamerlik, Bouley, Glassheim, Sande, Klave, Beyer, Babinchak, Bakken, Hafner, Hagness, Owens, Carpenter - 15; absent: none.

SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSAL
THAT JDA LEASE REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
(CORPORATE CENTER)

The city auditor reported that the Growth Fund Authority needs to call for a public hearing on the corporate center project, and would request that they set that public hearing the same date as the bond hearing, Monday, March 2, 1998 at 7:00 p.m.

It was noted that the finance committee recommended to the city council to establish the hearing on the bond issue for the cor-porate center.

It was moved by Council Member Klave and seconded by Council Member Beyer to set the public hearing on the proposal that the Jobs Development Authority lease real and personal property at 401 and 402 DeMers Avenue in the city for subleasing the project to various tenants, including the First National Bank North Dakota, Brady Martz & Associates, P.C. and Camrud, Maddock, Olson & Larson, Ltd.
Carried 15 votes affirmative.

It was moved by Council Member Hamerlik and seconded by Council Member Beach that we do now adjourn. Carried 15 votes affirmative.
