	MINUTES/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE Monday, September 20, 1999 - 7:15 p.m. Members present: Bakken, Bouley, Martinson 1. Matter of purchase of two police vehicles. Capt. Kjelstrom presented information relative to purchasing two vehicles using block grant funds and department vehicle funds. He reviewed information from Hansen Ford and Chrysler Center and recommended that the 1998 Chrysler Intrepid and the 1998 Chev. Lumina be purchased from the Chrysler Center. Moved by Martinson and Bouley to approve purchase of the 1998 Chrysler Intrepid and the 1998 Chev. Lumina from the Chrysler Center for the price of $15,157.00 and $13,157.00 for a total of $28,314.00, with extended warranties at best reasonable price, funding through Block Grant 2 along with funds in department vehicle budget.
