Minutes/Urban Development/ June 6, 1999 - 6:00 p.m.

Members present: Beyer, Glassheim, Polovitz.

1. Matter of Eastside of S. 3rd Street.
Proposals were presented by Schoen and Kobetsky who requested approval of the general concept with the items listed. After discussion the matter was sent to the city council without recommendation.

2. Matter of bid openings for 15 and 25 S. 3rd Street.
Moved by Beyer and Polovitz to hold the Terry T. Rogers bid. Motion carried.

3. Matter of downtown streetscape street lights procurement bids.
Moved by Beyer and Polovitz that the low bid be awarded to Border States Electric in the amount of $212,633.75. Motion carried.

4. Matter of request from Park District for additional funds for down payment on golf course.__________________________________________________________________
After discussion it was moved by Polovitz and Beyer that we extend our purchase option for one year. Motion carried.
