The city council of the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota met in special session in the council chambers in City Hall on Monday, May 12, 2003 during the committee of the whole meeting on this date, with Mayor Brown presiding. Present at roll call were Council Members Brooks, Hamerlik, Glassheim, Gershman, Christensen, Kerian, Kreun - 7; absent: none.
          RESCHEDULE MEETING OF REQUEST FROM GF/EGF
              METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION TO AMEND
              THE GRAND FORKS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO
              SPECIAL MEETING ON MAY 27, 2003

Council Member Christensen moved that the matter of the request from Grand Forks-East Grand Forks Metropolitan Planning Organization to amend the Grand Forks Comprehensive Plan to include the Grand Forks-East Grand Forks 2025 Transportation Plan Update, (2003 Street and Highway Element) together with all maps, information, recommendations and data contained therein, be scheduled for a vote by this council on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at a special session of the city council at 7:00 p.m. where we can discuss this issue and vote on it. Council Member Hamerlik seconded the motion. Carried 7 votes affirmative.

ADJOURN

It was moved by Council Member Hamerlik and seconded by Council Member Kreun to adjourn. Carried 7 votes affirmative.
