PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA
January 12, 2004

The city council of the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota met in special session in the council chambers in City Hall on Monday, January 12, 2004 following the committee of the whole meeting with Mayor Brown presiding, pursuant to call by Mayor Brown, which was served on all members. Present at roll call were Council Members Brooks, Gershman, Christensen, Kerian, Kreun - 5; absent: Council Members Hamerlik, Glassheim - 2.

Howard Swanson, city attorney, stated he would ask for a motion to go into executive session pursuant to North Dakota Century Code 44-04-19.2 for the purpose of discussing mediation session last Friday in the S J Louis matter.

It was moved by Council Member Brooks and seconded by Council Member Kreun that we go into executive session as requested. Carried 5 votes affirmative.

RECESS INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION

COUNCIL RECONVENES FOLLOWING EXECUTIVE
SESSION

The city council reconvened after the executive session with all members present.

ADJOURN

It was moved by Council Member Gershman and seconded by Council Member Kreun that we adjourn. Carried 5 votes affirmative.
