2011 Flood Fight - DOT to Inspect Sorlie Bridge on DeMers Ave.

Grand Forks, ND – The City of Grand Forks will remove the closure on DeMers Avenue on Monday, April 18, 2011, to allow the Department of Transportation access to the Sorlie Bridge. The Department of Transportation will inspect the bridge to check for any damage to the bridge that may have been caused by floodwaters.

The Sorlie Bridge will continue to be closed to motorists and pedestrians while the inspection is underway.

The inspection is expected to take most of the week to complete.
