    Employment-Lake Region College

    Although the Grand Forks Police Department does not require applicants for police officer to have attended a Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy, many departments do. Completion of this training academy can only be of benefit to the applicant in the hiring process.

    The Grand Forks Police Department in partnership with Lake Region State College will be hosting the ND Peace Officer Basic Training Course in Grand Forks, ND. This Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy will be held at the Grand Forks Public Training Center beginning May 13th, 2013 and ending August 14th, 2013.
